Our Exclusive Partner Gena Chen, Founder Ms Gena Chen is a self-made entrepreneur since 1995, dealing in business areas such as events management, education, and training and development. Her area of expertise includes bilingual show hosting, events consultancy, translation and editorial work, speech and presentation training, and public speaking. With her entrepreneurial drive and passion, she was featured in Lianhe Zaobao (2nd Sept 2002) & (8th Mar 2003), appeared on regional TV under the program “Youth Inc” produced by Channel News Asia in Dec 2002 (1/2 hr segment), and on Channel NTU. With special interest in early childhood education, she used to manage 3 play-groups and taught personally for 1 year. She has designed enrichment curriculum for pre-schoolers and students, with subjects involving speech and drama, science experiments workshop, Maths enrichment, and various life skills topics like creativity, problem based learning and so on. In 2002, she set up her own student care center in Lorong 8 Toa Payoh. Her passion and knowledge in her own field has given her many chances to be engaged as seminar speaker / trainer for various prestigious organizations like Lampe Berger International, Nanyang Polytechnic, Nanyang Technological University, Modern Montessori International, Temasek Academy, ITE etc. She has taught a variety of soft skills, performing arts and drama, oral communications, presentation skills, public speaking and entrepreneurship in various schools. Apart from managing her core business in events, she actively pursues other free-lancing jobs and business opportunities of her interests.
