Talent Plus Educare Pte Ltd (Since 1992)

- School was selected by the People's Association to be a registered school to conduct playgroup programme for Community Clubs/Centers and Residents' Committees.

- Invited by PAP Community Foundation to conduct playgroup for them.

- The principal was formerly the Senior Manager of Kg Ubi Constituency Secretariat from 1988 to 1992. Prior to the post she was the Community Development Officer with Marine Parade Constituency Secretariat from 1983 to 1987. As she knows the grassroots organisation system very well, she and her team of managers are able to work well with the grassroots leaders.

- Certificate in Drama & Speech, Kinderland Training Center
- 4 yrs experience as a Supervisor in Talent Plus Childcare & Development Center and 9yrs as a Programme Planner for Playgroup

Mdm Sarah Ng. Programme Manager
- Bachelor of Business and Administration, NTU
- Diploma in Montessori Education (London)

The Teachers

- Possessed recognised Certificates in Early Childhood Education and with related working experience.

Objectives

Aim is to provide children from 2yrs to3yrs old a quality playgroup programme at an affordable price within the home vicinity.
The program will benefit those children whose mothers who are either working or unable to afford the steep fees at contemporary centers.
Having such programme near home will also help parents save on transport fees.

The Thematic Learning Approach

Every Month, there will be a learning theme, and the various aspects of development e.g. language, music & movement, drama & speech etc. will centered around the learning theme.

The Programme

Frequency : Five days per week (Mon- Fri)

Time : 9.30am to 11.30am (2 hrs)

Class Ratio : one teacher, one assistance teacher to 16 children (minimum 8 students to start)

Programme

9.30am : Welcome Song

9.35am : Circle Time/Story Telling

10.00am : Creative Learning Time - on rotation basis

(language, thematic learning, art & craft, drama & speech, Montessori partial learning)

10.45am : Social & Creative Play

11.15am : Children Creative Game

11.30am : Bye Bye

Progress Report

A progress report will be made base on a developmental checklist at the end of the second & fourth terms.

Additional Benefits

Cleaning Service of the playgroup area

A cleaner will be engaged by our school to carry out cleaning service at the playgroup area.

Publicity of Playgroup Programme

Banner, poster, information leaflets will be prepared and paid by our company.

Special Celebration/Free Gift

Special parties for the children will be held on National Day and Children's Day. Free gift will be given to the children under the compliment of the organization/our company and the cost will be borne by us.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificate of attendance will be signed by the Chairman of the grassroots organizations and the Principal of our school.

Birthday Present

A gift will be presented to the child on his birthday with compliment from the grassroots organization and our company and the cost will be borne by us.

Public Liability

Our company will pay for the insurance coverage of public liability.

Publicity of RC/CC/MC Activities

Our playgroup teachers will assist the organization to publicize their activities to the parents.

My husband and I have 3 boys, aged 7, 5 and 3. We learn to be better parents by interacting and communicating with them. We experience a lot of joys in our
parenting. I am working with children. I like to organize programs and workshops for children to improve their self esteem, cope with their emotion
and develop their confidence.

Parenting is a challenging experience. Parents will constantly face a lot of challenge from your children. They would like to know whether you are firm enough to
enforce the rules and compassion enough to understand their feelings. When you can address to their feelings, a lot of problems will be resolved. However, if
you neglect or ignore their feelings, a lot of problems will surface. Parents are coaches to children to express their emotions in a safe way. With the clear and
safe boundaries, the children will feel secure and safe.

I shall organize small group pre-natal training for pregnant ladies to facilitate the connection and bond with unborn babies. The training is focusing on
communication with unborn, relaxation skills, visualization skills and psychological preparation to cope with labour.

If you like to learn about how to connect with your unborn baby you can get a copy of the ebook.

The purpose of this book is to help readers to bond and connect with unborn babies at the earliest stage by practicing seven essential skills (e.g. communication,
relaxation, visualization, mental imagery, accelerated learning, suggestion skills and so on) and ten useful activities
(e.g. pregnancy journal, love letters and so on).
